RAUTAHAT: An 18-year-old woman has been shot dead by unidentified persons in Ramauli Bairiya VDC of Rautahat district on Tuesday night.

According to the Area Police Office, Garuda, the identity of the deceased is yet to be established.

Police said that they recovered a used and used bullets from the incident site.

The body has been sent to the District Hospital for autopsy, Inspector Santu Lal Jayeswor informed.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
