DAMAULI: Two persons were injured when a bus hit a bike they were riding on at Dhayare in Jamune-7 of Tanahun district on Wednesday.

According to the District Police Office, Tanahun, the injured have been identified as biker Ajay Sah (22) and pillion rider Bal Ram BK (16) of Rautahat and currently residing at Jamune-7 of the district.

The bus (Na 5 Kha 5376) heading towards Pokhara from Damauli hit the bike (Ga 6 Pa 9290) this afternoon.

Sah is receiving treatment at the Damauli-based Ratna Hari Hospital while BK has been referred to the Metro Hospital in Pokhara, police said.

Police said that they have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
