CHITWAN: At least twenty people were injured in a minibus accident at Aaptari of Bharatpur-2 along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section on Monday morning.

According to District Police Office, the incident occurred when the bus (Ga 1 Kha 2246) heading towards Narayanghat from Jugedi of Chitwan skidded off the road after losing the balance.

Among the injured, six people are receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College while other 14 are receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.

The bus driver is absconded after the incident, informed police.

Police have launched necessary investigation.
