KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 1
A shipment of 201,600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine has arrived Nepal from the Maldives last night from under the COVAX facility.
According to the Child Health and Immunisation Section, Family Welfare Division, the Department of Health Services, the vaccines have been stored at Teku.
So far, 8,668,592 people have received the first dose while 7,189,689 have received the full course for Covid-19 vaccines.
Indian Covid-19 vaccine Covishield, Johnson and Johnson from United States of America, Japanese Astrazeneca and Swedish Astrazeneca have been in use since the start of vaccination campaign in the country.
