KATHMANDU: At least 23 persons have been injured when a passenger bus collided head on with a water tanker at Ratomate in Hetaunda Sub Metropolitan City-15, Makawanpur, on Tuesday afternoon.

The bus (Na 5 Kha 3750) collided with the water tanker (Na 5 Kha 7138) in Ratomate, along the East-West Highway this afternoon, said police.

The tanker driver Prabin Magar of Bhiman in Sindhuli Kamalamai Municipality-18, was also injured in the incident, added police.

All injured have been undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Hetaunda.

Police are looking into the case.
