2,990 students appearing in SEE from Lamjung

As many as 2,990 examinees will be appearing in this year’s Secondary Education Examination scheduled to begin on March 24 from Lamjung.
District Education Coordination Unit Chief Narayan Regmi said that 2,865 candidates from regular and 250 from exempted category would sit for SEE. Regmi said as many as 3,123 students from the regular and 34 from the exempted category had taken the examination from Lamjung last year.
According to District Education Coordination Unit, all preparations for examination were completed. As many as 18 examination centres have been fixed in the district this year. Regmi said 284 examinees, the highest in the district, will appear the SEE examination from Sundarbazaar-based Adarshabal Secondary School centre while only 69 examinees will take the SEE examination from Mangala Secondary School centre at Setipasal.
He said superintendents, assistant superintendents, invigilators and security personal had also been managed to conduct the examination in a fair manner.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Social Development of the province has managed sanitary pads for SEE appearing girl students to avoid the possible problems during the examinations. Regmi said that the ministry had released Rs 20, 000 for the purchase of sanitary pads.
