DAMAULI: The Tanahun District Court sent three teenage girls, who were nabbed with brown sugar, to judicial custody.

A single bench of District Judge Krishna Prasad Paudel had pronounced the order on Friday.

The girls aged 17, 18 and 19 were arrested from Byas Municipality-10 on February 21.

According to DSP Surendra Bahadur Gurung, two of them were arrested along with 5.52 grams of brown sugar after police had frisked them over suspicion.

Police had also recovered Rs 7,000 cash and two sets of mobile phones.
