Over 3,000 people benefitted from free health camp in Dadeldhura
DADELDHURA: More than 3,000 people underwent health check-up in an Integrated Health Camp run by Navadurga Rural Municipality in the district.
The 10-day health camp was organised in five wards of the rural municipality where 3,207 people suffering from different ailments including dental, eye and gyno received health treatment. The health camp that concluded on Tuesday was organised from February 4.
According to Chairperson of Navadurga Rural Municipality, Kabindra Bista, around 1,929 people underwent general health check-up while 1,186 people received eye treatment.
Similarly, spectacles were provided to 398 people, and 115 patients suffering from cataract also received treatment. Medicines were distributed to patients free of cost in the camp.
