A total of 3,841 students graduated from Midwestern University during its third convocation ceremony, held today in Birendranagar, Surkhet.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who also serves as the Chancellor of the University, conferred certificates upon graduates from various academic levels and faculties during the ceremony at the University's central office.

According to the University, this year's graduating cohort includes 2,189 undergraduate students across all faculties, 1,663 postgraduates, and 19 MPhil (Master of Philosophy) graduates from the Faculty of Management.

Renowned academic Prof. Dr. Mahendra P. Lama, a senior professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, graced the convocation as the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the University's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Dhruba Kumar Gautam, outlined upcoming academic programs to be introduced in collaboration with the Government of Nepal, as well as various national and international universities and organizations.

Later today, PM Oli is scheduled to address the Karnali Province Assembly.
