POKHARA: The 5th Ram Bazaar Festival is going to be held at Ram Bazaar of Lekhnath Municipality in Pokhara from October 6.

The nine-day festival is being organised with an aim to promote and protect art and culture as well as internal and external tourism.

“The event would showcase folk dance, children's park, ethnic procession, musical performances along with other cultural and entertainment programmes, said organiser Ram Bazaar Youth Club’s Secretary Raju Ale.

Altogether 10 stalls would be kept on display in the event that is expected to attract more than 70,000 visitors, according to the organisers.
