KATHMANDU, MAY 16

In a short span of time, the Chairperson of the 7 Summits Foundation, AC Sherpa, based in Seattle, Washington State, was able to collect around $15,750 in donations for Miss Nepal Priyanka Rani Joshi's project.

The 7 Summits Foundation played a crucial role in organizing a dinner and a golf tournament in Seattle to collect such a significant amount, according to a statement issued by the foundation.

Miss Nepal, Priyanka Rani Joshi, stated that the collected amount is expected to be invested in the development of the entrepreneurship of Madi villagers by providing training in hospitality and home-stay management.

"The goal is to empower and support local communities by equipping them with the necessary skills to develop and sustain their own businesses, thus enabling them to become self-sufficient," Joshi said.

"In support of her project, the Chairperson of the 7 Summits Foundation, AC Sherpa, himself contributed $5,000 and the foundation handed over the collected amount directly to the project account to ensure transparency," the statement added.

Chairperson Sherpa expressed his gratitude to all the supporters and donors who contributed to Miss Nepal's project in Nepal. "The success of this initiative is a testament to the power of collective action and demonstrates the importance of supporting local communities through innovative and sustainable solutions," he said.
