At least two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the east yesterday evening.

A tractor driver died and two others were injured after the tractor collided with a bus at Belbari Municipality of Morang district. The deceased have been identified as tractor driver Mohan Timsina, 27, of Bayarban VDC, Morang. The injured have been identified as Samir Chaudhari, 10, and Bikash Poudel, 22, of Dangihat VDC, Morang. Police said Timsina died on the spot and a critically injured Poudel is receiving treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health and Sciences, Dharan.

According to East Regional Police Office, Biratnagar the tractor had hit a bike that was parked at the edge of the road and collided with a bus coming from opposite direction. In another incident, a cyclist died after a motorcycle hit him in Itahari Municipality in Sunsari.
