Ajayameru Rural Municipality in Dadeldhura to adopt e-attendance

DADELDHURA: Ajayameru Rural Municipality in Dadeldhura is to adopt electronic attendance in all its offices, which will be the first of its kind in the district to record employee attendance.

Explaining the reasons for adopting digital attendance system, the Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality Khem Raj Poudel said, they were doing so to encourage the office employees to strictly keep to office time and make the services effective.

He added that this step would also promote transparency in employees' office attendance.

According to Poudel, e-attendance would be adopted at all the ward offices, 17 schools including basic and secondary, five health offices, and the office of Ajayameru Rural Municipality.

The rural municipality has stressed the use of digital attendance system to promote accountability among its employees. It has also been indicated that with the implementation of e-attendance, the rural municipality and ward offices are also planning to install CC camera for surveillance.
