KAVRE: District Court, Kavre on Wednesday sent a rape-accused to jail for further investigation.

The court sent Bijaya Khanal, 18, of Dapchha Kashikhanda Municipality, Kavre to custody for his alleged involvement in raping a local 13 year old minor on February 26.

The relatives of the victim had filed a case against the culprit in the district police office the day after the incident.

They added that Khanal had raped the minor while she was heading towards a water spout in the evening. Police arrested the accused the same day.
