KATHMANDU, AUGUST 27

Kaleidoscope, an annual event organised by Asian Paints Nepal, returned for its 2022-23 edition solidifying the company's continual efforts to promote and showcase the talents of promising architects and interior design of Nepal. Over a period of ten years through this CSR initiative, Asian Paints strongly believes that through the Kaleidoscope initiative, students have an opportunity to express their creativity and build a sense of accomplishment.

The project for the fiscal 2022-23 for Architecture students was 'Pokhara Monumental Park' at Pokhara's Kaski and 'Boutique Hotel' for Interior Design students.

This is the 8th edition of the national level competition where a total of 51 students of 2017 batch and 2018 batch had participated from across 11 Architectural and 2 Interior Design colleges. Top 5 winners from both Architecture & Interior Design faculty were rewarded amid a event in Kathmandu today.

The event was graced by the presence of State Minister Pramila Kumari, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology as chief guest.

The event was also attended by different associations along with jurors, university representatives, college coordinators, teachers, students, past winners and representatives of Asian Paints.

The winner of the competition from Architect colleges was Sandeep Tandukar from IOE, Thapathali Campus and from Interior Design college was Ms Neelima Pradhan from Kantipur International College. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 70,000 each from Asian Paints. The first runner up from Architect Colleges was Anmol Bhandari from Acme Engineering College and from Interior Design college was Cathy Munankarmi from IEC College of Art and Fashion. They received a cash prize of Rs 40,000 each from Asian Paints. Yunish Bhatta Chhetri from IOE, Thapathali Campus (Architect college) and Ms Shrija Acharya from Kantipur International College (Interior Design College) were awarded the second runner up position winning a cash prize of Rs 30,000 each.
