Sajha Bibeksheel voted as mayor of Pheta RM

Nepali Congress candidates have been elected as the mayor and deputy mayor of Kolhabi Municipality of Bara district.

Ramprasad Chaudhary has been elected as the mayor while Laxmi Kumari Chaudhary has won as the deputy mayor of the municipality, both of whom were contesting the aforementioned seats under the Nepali congress banner.

Ramprasad Chaudhary surpassed CPN-UML candidate Bharat Bahadur Bhandari by a vote difference of 798 to lay claim to the post.

Meanwhile, Laxmi Kumari Chaudhary was deemed suitable by 605 more voters as the deputy mayor against CPN-UML candidate Suina Tharuni.

Both Bhandari and Tharuni had been elected as the mayor and deputy mayor of the municipality during the last local level elections.

Similarly, in Pheta Rural Municipality of Bara, Sajha Bibeksheel candidate has been elected as the mayor of the local level.

Rustom Ansari of Sajha Bibeksheel, who received 4,485 votes, defeated CPN-UML candidate Amirilal Prasad with 2,399 votes.

In the same manner, Neelam Shah representing the same party has won as the deputy mayor of the local level.

The results of the Pheta Rural Municipality local level elections revealed the only candidates to have won from Sajha Bibeksheel in Bara.
