KATHMANDU: The government on Monday tabled three Bills in the legislature parliament paving way for the opening of three universities.

The bills tabled are Far-Western University Bill 2066, Mid-Western University Bill 2066, Agriculture and Forestry Science University Bill 2066. Once the bills are endorsed by the House, after discussions on them, the door will be opened for establishing the universities.

Minister for Education Ram Chandra Kushbaha tabled them. Meanwhile, the House agreed to accept National Human Rights Commission Bill 2066 for discussion. Minister of Law and Justice Prem Bahadur Singh had tabled the proposal. The government also tabled "Bill on Sexual Harassment (Control) in Work Place 2066".
