Birgunj: The family and friends of Karishma Rai have not allowed any vehicular movement in Birgunj-Pathlaiya road section from Tuesday evening. Rai lost her life in an accident when a bus hit her. The protestors have demanded compensation for Rai's family.

The strike has majorly affected transportation business and people travelling in the route have been stranded.
