Book on conflict out

Kathmandu, November 21:

Speaker of the House of Representatives Subas Nembang today said the comprehensive peace treaty was just the begining towards lasting peace.

Launching a book titled Nepal: Conflict Resolution and Sustainable Peace, Nembang said, “The comprehensive peace treaty would be a historical ground to build peace and prosperity in country.”

“The challanges facing the country’s progress will remain same even after the peace treaty

because Jana Andolan II has yet to achieve its goals. Restructuring of state and decentralisation of state power after writing new constitution by elected constituent assembly are the goals of the movement,” he added.
