TANSEN: Demanding a Hindu State, Brahman Samaj, Palpa, today demonstrated in front of the District Administration Office, Tansen.

Activists of the group also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the Chief District Officer Janak Raj Sharma, demanding withdrawal of the proposal to restructure the state on the basis of ethnicity.

After submitting the memorandum, Dr Netra Prasad Neupane, Chairman, Brahman Samaj, Palpa, said that the state should be restructured into federalism on the basis of class and not on the basis of caste. If the states are formed on the basis of caste, there might be another civil war in the country, Dr Neupane said.
