KATHMANDU: National Campaign for Education, Nepal has demanded action against the culprits behind a tragic incident that took place at Taukhel-based Pushpanjali Secondary School in Lalitpur.

In the incident, two girl students Kripa Rai (9) and Anjana Pun (10) were killed and 24 others sustained injuries after a compound wall collapsed and hit prefab classrooms of Pushpanjali Secondary School in Taukhel of Lalitpur, on July 1.

In a press statement, the network of 286 non-government organisations working in the sector of education have demanded a probe into the incident and action against those found guilty.

The organisation has wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
