LAMJUNG: Unidentified thieves vandalised the Land Revenue Office in Lamjung on Thursday.

"The chain gate of the rented apartment at the ground floor was broken. One of the rooms was vandalised but the documents were safe and untouched," Krishna Prasad Paude, Information Officer at the office said.

He informed that a total of Rs 55,000 in cash was stolen from the office.

This is the third case that ccoured in the district in past one week.

According to Ganesh Kumar Shrestha, Chief at the office, the thieves barged into the office building in the absence of office assistant, Rup Bahadur Khatri.

Inspector Rajendra Adhikari of the District Police Office, Lamjung said that they are looking into the case.
