CHITWAN: A cyclist died after being hit by a minibus at Rijal Chok of Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan City-10 of Chitwan district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Bahadur Bayalkoti (52) of the same locality.

He was hit by the minibus (Ba 3 Kha 2275) en route to Narayangadh from Bhandara of Chitwan at around 6:00 pm yesterday, informed the District Police Office.

Bayalkoti died while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital later the same night.

The bus driver has been taken into custody for necessary action, police said.
