Khotang, June 3

Various cooperatives in Khotang district were handed over to the local levels today.

With reconstruction of the state, Division Cooperative Office, Udayapur has handed over 126 cooperatives of the district to two municipalities and eight rural municipalities. Details of the cooperatives were handed over at an orientation organised for representatives of local levels and officials in the hall of the District Coordination Committee.

The division office has handed them over to chiefs and representatives of the concerned municipality and rural municipality. Chief at District Coordination Committee Babi Chamling handed over documents to the representatives.

Officer Jitman Jimi at Department of Cooperative Division Office said as many as 126 cooperatives were handed over to the local levels.

As many as 43 cooperatives of Rupakot Majhuwagadi Municipality, 24 in Haleshi Tuwachung Municipality, seven in Aiselukharka Rural Municipality, 10 in Rawabensi Rural Municipality, four in Kaplasgadi Rural Municipality, 12 in Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality, four in Sakela Rural Municipality, 11 in Khotanghang Rural Municipality, three in Bahrapokhari Rural Municipality and eight cooperatives in Jantedhunga Rural Municipality were handed over.
