Cops yet to get SLC allowance

Police personnel at Area Police Office, Belchautara, who were deployed for the School Leaving Certificate examinations, complained that they were yet to receive their allowance though the test ended almost a week ago in Byas Municipality, Tanahun.

They said the security personnel deployed from the west regional Armed Police Force, Pokhara, had received their allowance on time.

Each police personnel deployed for the SLC exam was offered Rs 180 per day during the test.

Meanwhile, Inspector Raju KC, of Belchautara Area Post Office, said the office was preparing to distribute the allowance soon.

SP Krishna Kumar Mahat of District Police Office, Tanahun, said a total of Rs 144,000 was sent for security personnel of APF, Pokhara, as SLC allowance.

He further informed that the salary of security personnel deployed for the SLC exam from District Police Office, Tanahun, was deposited in the DPO’s account.
