HETAUDA, OCTOBER 17

Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal Chair Kamal Thapa today said that he and his party had cordial and close relationship with CPN-UML. Further, Thapa held that he was fortunate to be contesting the next election using the UML's poll symbol sun.

Inaugurating the publicity office of the UML in Hetauda, Thapa argued that he was contesting the elections with the UML's symbol sun not only to win the polls but it was the country's necessity.

Thapa, who is also a candidate from Makawanpur Constituency-1 for member of House of Representatives, stressed the need of unity among nationalist forces.

Thapa argued that nationalist forces, including the UML, were targeted ever since a new map of Nepal incorporating encroached land was published by former prime minister KP Sharma Oli. He slammed the ruling coalition and said that it was formed to weaken the nation and nationality.

Thapa claimed that Hetauda was made permanent headquarters of Bagmati Province because of Oli.
