As per EC's notice, FSFN's Chief Whip ShivaJi Yadav reached the EC to register the party, while a team led by Krishna Glopal Shrestha from UML reached there for the party registration.

It may be noted that the FSFN has been showing reservation on the constitution amendment bill.

Yadav told the RSS that his party was expanding organization in all districts. Party Chairman is busy in Tarai to strengthen organization while the preparations are on to hold the convention too, he added.

Similarly, UML central member Krishna Gopal Shrestha said, "Local level election was being held after 19 years. Local election is the foundation of democracy." According to him, the announcement of local election has created jubilation among political party and cadres across the country.

With these, seven political parties have been registered at the EC. The EC said 16 others have filled up forms for the registration.

Chairman of Rastriya Janamukti Party, Shiva Lal Thapa, who had also come to register observed that political parties have not mobilized cadres in villages. Meetings and discussion with voters has been intensified.
