KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 21

With a view to aiding health infrastructure and bolstering overall medical facilities, Dabur Nepal as part of its Corporation Social Responsibility initiative donated Rs 2.5 million worth of medical equipment to Bir Hospital for critical care.

The donation was handed over by Ishori Rana, chairperson and managing director of Dabur Nepal and HS Bedi, business head for Nepal and Myanmar at a ceremony held on the premises of the hospital in Kathmandu yesterday.

The cheque of rupees 2.5 million was handed over to the Director of Bir Hospital Prof Dr Bhupendra Kumar Basnet in the presence of Anupama Karki and Prof Dr Manen P Gorkhaly.

During the programme Dabur Nepal spokesperson said, "Bir Hospital is one of the prestigious and leading government hospitals of Nepal that has been at the forefront of providing health care services to citizens of the country.

In the backdrop of the global pandemic it is only apt that we support them in our own small way in their endeavour to provide critical health care services to the nation."
