Fire at Dhanusha store guts property worth more than Rs 1.3 million
DHANUSHA: Property worth more than Rs 1.3 million was gutted when a fire broke out in a grocery store in Janakpur on Tuesday night.
According to police, the fire broke out at the Taaj Rice Centre inflicting the huge loss.
The Centre is owned by Mohammed Hussein of Pulchok, Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City. It was being operated in a wooden building, which was also gutted in the fire.
Railway Station Police Post In-charge Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Dev Lal Yadav said the fire could have started from a short circuit.
