District Administration Offices of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur have decided issue prohibitory orders for the valley, effective Thursday

KATHMANDU, APRIL 26

The domestic flights will continue with their regular operations while strictly following safety guidelines despite a prohibitory order coming into effect from Thursday.

Spokesperson at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Raj Kumar Chhetri, told THT Online that domestic flights will operate as usual while adopting the Covid-19 safety protocols.

Chhetri, however, added that the authority is yet to conduct an internal meeting and discuss the plan of action post issuance of the prohibitory order.

An official announcement on the same is yet to be made. However, a meeting of the District Administration Offices of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur has decided to issue prohibitory orders for the valley effective from April 29.
