‘End black-marketing’

Dadeldhura: Minister for Commerce Jayant Chand on Wednesday warned traders involved in black-marketing with stern action.

Speaking at a press meet organised in Baghkhor, Dadeldhura, Minister Chand said commoners were still forced to pay higher prices for goods though normalcy had returned to the country long time back after the supply system eased.

“I am working hard to make the supply system smooth,” Chand said, adding, “I have heard black-marketeers have been raising their heads.

They will not be spared,” Chand warned. He informed that his ministry was coordinating with all the DAOs across the country to stop black-marketing. “Black-marketeers will be booked at the earliest,” he added.

Chand held that Nepal’s relations with India had thawed of late.

He clarified that India and China could not be alternatives for Nepal’s development and national integrity. “Nepal maintains cordial relations with both China and India,” Chand stated.
