Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, laid the foundation stone of the library building of Marshyangdi Multiple Campus at Besisahar, the headquarters of Lamjung district at a programme on Monday. The Indian government has provided Rs 1.555 million for the construction of the building. Talking to the media persons briefly afterwards, envoy Mukherjee said Nepali people have taken their future in their own hands. He added that India was always ready to support Nepali people. “Nepal’s PM has talked to Indian PM, Indian government is always ready to provide support for Nepal’s development,” Mukherjee said. — HNS
