Envoys call on PM
Kathmandu, April 5:
Chinese Ambassador Qui Guohang today called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal
‘Prachanda’ and asked about American ambassador Nancy J Powell’s recent visit
to Mustang.
American ambassador Powell had visited the area during Prime Minister’s weeklong visit to Norway and Sweden, said PM’s press advisor Om Sharma. Sharma, however, denied to reveal the details of the conversation on the subject.

“Ambassador Guohang was focused on making Prime Minister Dahal’s next month’s visit to China successful and discussed about China’s support to Nepal,” added Sharma.
Indian Ambassador Rakesh Sood also met with PM Dahal this morning at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar to discuss about border security during the general elections
in India.
Army integration and other contemporary political issues were also discussed during the meeting, said Sharma.
