Ex-PM Nepal for resolving dissatisfaction, natl govt

JANAKPURDHAM: CPN-UML senior leader, Madhav Kumar Nepal, today stressed on the need for formation of a participatory national government by engaging all political parties.

Speaking to journalists at the Janakpur airport, Nepal said the country should develop a trend of speaking less and working more.

Noting that there was lack of efforts to resolve dissatisfaction, dilemma and disbelief over the new constitution, leader called for creation of an environment for dialogue with those dissatisfied.

None of the sector should make the people suffer or inflict pain on them, he said, while drawing attention towards creating an environment so that all the ethnic communities and groups would not feel as pariah.

The former prime minister said Province No 2 of eastern Nepal was replete with development potential and called for expansion of railway service from Saptari to Parsa in the first phase and up to Lumbini in the second stage. He emphasised on construction of postal road, and development of agriculture, vegetable, animal husbandry and tourism with everyone's effort.
