PARBAT: A pressure cooker bomb was found at the house of Yam Bahadur Malla, Chair of Jaljala Rural Municipality in Parbat district.

A joint bomb disposal squad of the Nepal Army and Ranadal Company in Baglung had disposed the bomb.

"The improvised explosive device was wrapped in newspaper and kept inside a plastic bag. It was planted under Malla's parked vehicle," said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Ghimire at the Baglung District Police Hospital.

The IED might have been planted last night and locals saw it in the morning, said police.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
