GORAHI: A father killed his son on Monday night at Narayanpur VDC, Dang.

The deceased has been identified as Govinda Gharti, the son of Ram Bahadur Gharti 42, a local resident of Narayanpur VDC, Dang.

Ram Bahadur Gharti decapitaded Govinda with an axe. He then disposed of his son’s head at a distance of approximately 15 m from his residence.

He has since been taken into custody. According to his statement to the police he slaughtered his son as god appeared in his dream and ordered him to do so.
