PANCHTHAR: Property worth around Rs seven million was reduced to ashes when a fire destroyed 19 houses and sheds at Syabrumba-2 in the district.

Police said that the houses and sheds at the locality were destroyed by the fire which spread from the wildfire nearby the settlement since Monday.

The fire is yet to be doused in the forest, said a local Ramesh Thapa.
