BIRGUNJ: Locals in nine VDCs in Parsa district are compelled to live under darkness after the power supply disrupted as some wires snapped five days ago.

Locals in Amarpatti, Barba, Dhore, Mahuban, Madhubani among other VDCs are forced to live under darkness due to the power supply disruption.

The cables had snapped due to a strong wind on Monday night.

The Nepal Electricity Authority Birgunj Office has stated that it was working out to restore power.
