SURUNGA, JHAPA: At least four persons were injured in an accident involving a bus and tractor this morning at Nagartole of Gauradaha Municipality-2 along the inner section of Pudajungi-Gaurigunj route in Jhapa district.

Bimala Bhujel (37) of Gauradaha -5, who was taking a morning walk, was among the four injured in the accident.

Others injured in the mishap have been identified as the tractor's assistant driver Ajay Mandal (35), Sharaha Dangi (40) of Gauradaha-3 and Anisha Bhandari (20) , said Inspector Dundi Raj Giri at the District Traffice Police Office, Jhapa.

A tractor (Me 1 Ta 4434) en route to Gaurigunj crashed after getting brushed by an overtaking passenger bus (Ko 1 Kha 4291) today, according to District Traffic Office Jhapa.

All of the injured are being treated at the Lifeline Hospital in Damak.
