Four refugees enter Bhutan, get arrested

Damak, November 28:

Four Bhutanese refugees entered their homeland through Kakadvitta transit today, according to the Human Rights Organisation of Bhutan (HuROB). However, they were arrested by the Bhutan Police in no time while distributing pamphlets. The HuROB said the refugees, who entered Bhutan this afternoon, distributed around 2000 pamphlets in Phuncholing and nearby areas. The pamphlets were addressed to the Bhutan’s Parliament in session, with a view to drawing its attention in finding a lasting solution to their problem, HuROB chairman, SB Subba, said.
