Four-wheelers not allowed on Banbasa bridge as Mahakali swells

KANCHANPUR: The movement of four-wheelers has come to a halt on the Banbasa bridge since this morning with the rise of water current in the Mahakali River in far-western Nepal.

The water current was 105,203 cusec in the Mahakali River at 7:00 this morning, according to ASI of Area Police Office, Gaddachauki, Gokul Balayar.

Traffic movement of four-wheeler is normally prohibited on Banbasa bridge when the water flow crosses 100,000 cu sec in the Mahakali.
