A young girl committed suicide at her boy friend's home saying that she was deceived by him at Thadi Motigada of Triyuga Municipality, on Sunday.
Sabitra Chaudhary, 31, of Belaka Municipality committed suicide by hanging herself with a shawl from the ceiling at the home of Bishnu Dev Panjiyar at Thadi Motigada of Triyuga Municipality, Udayapur, said police.
It is learnt that Chaudhary and Panjiyar were in a relationship for the last two years. Chaudhary had come to Panjiyar's home on Saturday. They were preparing to tie the knot in December.
In the presence of society, they were granted permission to live as husband and wife seven days ago.
A preliminary investigation showed that Chaudhary committed suicide in a fit of rage after she saw another girl with Panjiyar.
According to the police, Bishnu Dev had been having an affair with another girl for the past five years.
