Damak, January 5:

Minister for Land Reform and Management Jagat Bahadur Bogati today said that the problems related to squatters and landless people would be solved after formation of the National Land Commission (NLC).

Speaking to journalists in Damak, he said that a proposal has been forwarded to the parliament for the formation of the NLC.

“The problems of squatters and landless people should be solved in a broader manner through the NLC,” Bogati said.

He said that the government has started resettlement of freed Kamaiyas in mid-western Nepal.

Policies for the solution of the problems of squatters and landless people have been drafted as per the suggestion and participation of the experts in respective fields, he said.

Minister Bogati also visited Chulachuli VDC of Ilam district.
