Shahi banned from entering Kaski

The ruling Nepal Communist Party Youth Association Rastriya Yuva Sangh Nepal Kaski Chapter has banned the entry of journalist and activist Gyanendra Shahi in Kaski district.

Issuing a press statement today, RYSN Kaski Chapter banned Shahi’s entry in the district.

Then Young Communist League Nepal Kaski Chair Bhojraj Poudel and then Youth Association Nepal Chair Dilliram Subedi have signed the statement. The statement said Shahi had been banned from entering Kaski for his regressive and anti-government activities. In the statement, Subedi and Poudel say that their organisation is ready to take any step to discourage people such as Shahi from spreading delusion and carrying out anarchic activities.

Similarly, RYSN Kaski charged that anti-republican and forces against change are inciting some people to spread rumours through Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. They have warned that they might be forced to launch protest programme against regressive forces.

The youth wing of the NCP in Dhanusha also banned Gyanendra Shahi, from  travelling to or organising programmes in Dhanusha. Shahi had publicly criticised tourism minister Yogesh  Bhattarai for delaying a  flight bound for Kathmandu from Nepalgunj. Issuing a separate  press release, the Dhanusha chapter of the NCP youth wing said they decided to ban Shahi as his  activities were against the federal democratic system achieved after decades of struggle.
