Mahottari, November 26:

Cadres of Jwala Singh led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-J) abducted the headmaster of Sonama Secondary School in the district last night.

JTMM-J cadres abducted Mahendra Thakur (55) accusing him of embezzling the school’s fund. He was abducted at around midnight.

Meanwhile, Jaya Bahadur Moktan (60) of Ramnagar, who was abducted four days ago, was released last night.

In another incident, police detained five person suspecting their involvement in the abduction of medical entrepreneur Chandreshwor Mishra. He was abducted by an unidentified gang last Friday, according to the police.
