Damauli, April 13

Locals of Tanahun have been elated with the establishment of Eklekhet Urban Health Centre at Eklekhet in Suklagandaki Municipality of the district.

Executive Officer of Suklagandaki Municipality Hariram Nagila inaugurated the urban health centre today.

Nagila said the centre would provide relief to the locals as its establishment at their doorstep had put an end to their compulsion to visit district headquarters Damauli, Dulegaunda and Pokhara even for treatment of minor ailments.

He urged the local people to take advantage of the 40 types of drugs provided free from the health centre.

Damauli Hospital Chairman Hariraj Kandel said the District Development Committee and municipalities should allocate enough fund to enable the centre to provide quality health services to people from rural areas.

Likewise, lawmaker Asha Khanal inaugurated Lalim and Thutepipal Urban Health Centre at Suklagandaki Municipality today.
