MANANG, OCTOBER 7
Home Minister Balkrishna Khand today inspected the flood-affected areas in Manang.
During the visit, Chief District Officer Rabindra Prasad Acharya briefed the Minister about the losses caused by the flood during this monsoon and the reconstruction plan of the damaged infrastructures.
The Home Minister met with chiefs of district-based security authorities and government offices on the sidelines of the inspection and instructed for quick and effective service delivery.
Taalgaun has been affected most by the flood.
On the occasion, former Minister of State for Labour, Tek Bahadur Gurung, requested the central government to support disaster survivors and address the post-flood recovery needs in the affected areas.
