Gorkha, September 23 :

Idol of Goddess Durga Kalika was shifted on Saturday to the Dashainghar from the Kailash Kotha of the Gorkha Durbar with worship and fanfare to mark the first day of the Nawaratri. Shifting of the idol of the Goddess to the Puja Kotha of the Dashainghar heralds the beginning of Dashain.
