IGP Aryal points out gap between public expectations and police service

BANEPA: Inspector General of Nepal Police Upendra Kant Aryal said Nepal Police was unable to meet expectations of the people while providing services.

Inaugurating the official residence of the Kavre District Police Chief in Dhulikhel today, Aryal stressed the necessity of removing the suspicion between the civilians and police thereby filling up the gap.

"There has been an increment in criminal mindset with the development of transportation, media and technology", the police chief added.

The residence for Superintendent of Police (SP) with four rooms was built at a cost of Rs 2.9 million donated by a local entrepreneur of Banepal, Ram Bhakta Pradhan.
