BHAKTAPUR: Nepal Army bomb disposal team has defused improvised explosive devices (IED) found in Suryavinayak and Lokanthali of Bhaktapur district this morning.

Pressure cooker bombs were detected near Adarsha Bus Park in Suryavinayak Municipality-6 and along the roadside in Lokanthali, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Himalaya Kumar Shrestha at Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur shared that the Nepal Army team defused the pressure cooker bombs planted in both the areas.

He informed that police patrol and security personnel in civvies have been mobilised in different areas for maintaining law and order
